Tim and Bianca are wonderful hosts and guides. The tracks are great and story behind building it all is admirable and a testament to a great community. The lodge is beautiful, clean and comfortable with everything you need - loved all the added touches. Thankyou for a great experience!Posted on Google![]()

What hospitable, knowledgeable and caring support from the wonderful Bianca and Tim, our friendly hosts and guides. Such an accomplished pair! Especially recall the day we endured Noah-like rain and Bianca called for late-morning rescue from a dry Tim who arrived swiftly to take us to start the drying process and allow us a change of clothes before a fabulous gin tasting. Accommodation in their beautiful lodge was clean and extremely comfortable for the four people we had on our trek. Yes, there were some tramping ups and downs but we (65 and 72 years young) managed with warm patience from the group. Breakfast was do it yourself with plenty of options. Lunch was a delicious gourmet surprise at a winery or ritzy pub, wine accompanying. Dinner was delivered each night from another local gourmet establishment with a favourite wine or two from each day's 2-3 tastings (so clever!) We were NEVER hungry or under-refreshed! We walked from breakfast to lunchtime through the undulating pleasure of Clare's ridges and valleys. Afternoons were to ourselves for scrolling, snoozing, chatting or, as was our want, reading (accompanied by a refreshing beverage). Wonderful time with wonderful people ... and the occasional wine!Posted on Google![]()

We couldn’t be more satisfied; girls weekend away. We were in alternative accommodation that had been arranged for us - absolutely outstanding, exceeded the needs of our group. Bianca went out of her way to accommodate our group with different needs, and was so reflexive with our changing plans to make sure we had the rest we needed. Best food and wine weekend in a long time! Thank you for a lovely, restorative weekendPosted on Google![]()

10/10 for an expertly curated and organised 5-day experience hosted by a warm and wonderful team - Tim and Bianca. As a group of four from Melbourne, we found it all worked perfectly - the lodge, the planning for the walks, the balance between wine tastings, walking, dining out for lunch and dining in for dinners, and the overall professional but personal approach of our hosts. Each day was structured to work for the given weather conditions, the walking route, and the accommodation of varied wine tastings and dining experiences. This is perfect for people who love a relaxing break that provides a mix of fairly gentle outdoors activity, good food and wine in a beautiful setting. We walked in October and the weather conditions during the days varied fairly wildly from hot (around 29 celcius) to cold (around 8 celcius) - Tim and Bianca organised our days to fit the conditions, and there was always the great option to take a day off walking and stay at the lodge. While the trail is a little hilly, this is not difficult walking and should be easily managed for anyone who is moderately fit and mobile.+4Posted on Tripadvisor![]()

We are a group of older women who loved our amazing long weekend Clare Valley walk. We extended to 3 nights & enjoyed 2 beautiful walks through the peaceful & scenic Clare Valley. The walks were really enjoyable, long enough to work up a hearty appetite to enjoy the amazing meals supplied by local restaurants, the food was top quality. Our accommodation was luxurious & comfortable. Thank you Tim & Bianca for organising all of this for us, we appreciated your driving us around & the amazing itinerary. It surpassed our expectations.Posted on Google![]()

Clare Valley Walk An amazing three days of walking, laughs, good wine and delectable food - the beautiful Clare Valley did not disappoint - giving us everything from fields of gold to pristine bushland, neat rows of budding vines, wildflowers and a wonderfully diverse range of wineries. We were met with friendliness and relaxed hospitality everywhere. Tim and Bianca run a great walking tour with a great blend of local knowledge and fun, and the accommodation was all about more good food, comfortable beds and roaring fires - I can highly recommend! Thank you!Posted on Tripadvisor![]()

A superlative walking and dining experience. Worth every penny. What an experience! Worth every penny! Started with our pickup in Adelaide and the drive out to the beautiful green Clare Valley, where we commenced our first walk of the Riesling Trail with our fantastic guides Jay and Steve. Lunch up on a ridge-top hut with spectacular views in every direction, then back down to be taken to our accommodation at the fabulous Bungaree Station. Out that evening to the Watervale Hotel, where Warwick, Nicola and their chefs entertained us first with a walk around the property, then an extremely good multiple-course degustation dinner, accompanied with matching wines selected by Warwick who certainly knew his wines, finishing off with ten perfect souffles and a great “sticky”. And that was only the first day! After a great night’s sleep in great accommodation, next day off to the Bungaree homestead for a great breakfast, then out for the next day’s walk on the Trail, ending with lunch at Skillogalee Winery, where we enjoyed plates of most of their menu selections – another great culinary effort. Out in the evening to a local restaurant. After breakfast on the third day, another walk on the Trail, morning tea at Seven Hills, finishing at Pauletts Winery, with another fantastic lunch with sweeping views across the Clare Valley. And finally the drive back to Adelaide.Cannot speak too highly of this well-organised combination of walks in beautiful countryside, where our guides monitored our progress and adjusted for those of us a bit slower, together with culinary experiences coupled with great local wines and stunning scenery. And accompanied with great accommodation and breakfasts at Bungaree.Posted on Tripadvisor![]()

Eat, Drink and Walk the Clare Valley Put this on your bucket list if you like hiking thru pristine countryside, sampling award winning wines, eating gourmet meals and staying in luxury accommodation. Clare Valley Wine and Wilderness trail has all this and more. Tim and Bianca are perfect hosts/tour guides who have an obvious love and great knowledge of the Clare region. During our 5 day hike we ate at some of the best restaurants that Clare offers and when sampling the regions wine met a number of the local wine making legends. Hiking offered English style rolling countryside one day, sprawling views from the ranges the next. A wonderful experience.Posted on Tripadvisor![]()
